With everything going on today your hormones can be out of whack, and balancing your hormones naturally is something that we all want to do. This is something that can mess with your hair and skin, which is something that I have been struggling with.

I have tried all the topical treatments and it seems like nothing is working and when you realize that maybe something different is at play. And your hormones can be unbalanced. This is definitely something that you should get checked out by a doctor.

When you do and realize that your hormones are out of whack and you need to figure out a way to balance your hormones this is some ways to help balance it.

BALANCING YOUR HORMONES NATURALLY

HOW TO KNOW IF YOUR HORMONES ARE UNBALANCED

There are some ways to know if your hormones are unbalanced or to start questioning if it is and seeing the signs to take it to your doctor to find out if it really is unbalanced.

Here are some things to look out for:

  • Muscle weakness or muscle aches
  • Fatigue
  • Sweating
  • Hair loss or hair thinning
  • Weight gain
  • Hump of fat between the shoulders
  • Weight loss
  • Pain or joint stiffness
  • Increased or decreased heart rates
  • Increased sensitivity to heat or cold
  • Increased thirst
  • Increased hunger
  • Decreased sex drive
  • Nervousness, anxiety or irritability
  • Infertility
  • Dry skin
  • Puffy face
  • Rounded face
  • Heavy periods or painful periods

If your experiencing some of these symptoms your hormone may be imbalanced.

Most of us experience these symptoms but don’t realize that our hormones may be imbalanced.

If you feel like your experiencing some of these symptoms you may want to speak with your doctors and get some testing done.

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR HORMONES ARE IMBALANCED

If your trying to figure out what to do the first thing would be to see if you have any or a bunch of the symptoms above and if you do your then going to want to go to the doctor and get testing done, specifically for your hormones.

And if you’ve done all of that and find out that your hormones are indeed unbalanced, your going to need to take steps to help balance them again.

I’m sure the doctors can provide you medications to help balance out your hormones and if this is the route you want to take that’s perfectly fine.

But if that’s not the route you want to take and you want to find a more natural way to balance your hormones, then keep reading.

HOW TO FIX HORMONAL IMBALANCE NATURALLY

So how do we essentially fix our bodies? There are many ways that we can do it naturally by the foods we intake or liquids we drink. You may also have to cut things out of your diet in order to do this.

There are ways that it can be done naturally and I’ll be sharing a lot of those ways. But before I do, I wanted to say fixing your hormones is a process, that will take some time.

It’s also something that maybe you don’t want to jump in and try to do everything at once. Take your time and start incorporating these things one by one in to your life.

This way you don’t overwhelm yourself but also you can see what works and what doesn’t because were all different. And our bodies and levels of imbalance maybe different. So give yourself some grace and take it one step at a time.

WHAT CAN I EAT?

Eating can have a major impact on so many things when it comes to our ailments. What we put into our bodies make a difference.

You want to make sure that your eating whole fresh foods and not processed foods and sugars. Processed foods and refined sugar are the cause of a lot of problems that we have.

Here are some foods for hormone balance:

  • Almonds
  • Avocados
  • Eggs
  • Salmon
  • Arugula
  • Broccoli
  • Carrots
  • Coconut oil
  • Mushrooms
  • Pomegranates
  • Red grapes
  • Whole grains

SPICES FOR HORMONE BALANCE

Spices are also a great way to help balance your hormones. Using these spices can help to improve your hormones and help to balance them out.

These spices are also really good for a bunch of other things along with balancing your hormones.

Spices for hormone balance:

  • Ginger
  • Cilantro
  • Parsley
  • Cinnamon
  • Clove
  • Mint
  • Turmeric

LIMIT ALCOHOL COMSUMPTION

Alcohol hits your blood stream which can throw your blood sugar out of whack. And throwing your sugar out of whack constantly can cause your hormones to be unbalanced.

So if your trying to balance your hormones limiting or stopping consumption can go a long way in helping to your hormones.

LIMIT CAFFEINE CONSUMPTION

Caffeine can also make a difference on your body. Having too much caffeine can cause anxiety.

It can also raise your cortisol levels and it can even be linked to estrogen changes.

So if your noticing that your body is potential imbalanced then you may want to take a look at your caffeine consumption and test it out to see if it will make a difference.

A great alternative for coffee is matcha. This helps reduce stress levels which causes less strain on your adrenal glands and it also good for stabilizing your blood sugar.

EXERCISE

Regular exercise can be helpful in maintaining hormonal balance. Here are some exercises that can be beneficial:

  • Strength Training: Strength training helps in boosting the production of testosterone and growth hormone, which can help in balancing hormones. It also helps in building muscle mass and increasing metabolism.
  • Cardiovascular Exercise: Cardiovascular exercises like running, cycling, swimming, and dancing can help in reducing the levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, and increasing the production of endorphins, the feel-good hormones.
  • Yoga: Yoga can help in reducing stress and anxiety levels, which can be beneficial in balancing hormones. Certain yoga poses like the Cobra pose, Bridge pose, and Warrior pose can also help in stimulating the thyroid gland, which is responsible for regulating hormones.
  • High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT): HIIT workouts involve short bursts of intense exercise followed by periods of rest. This type of exercise can help in boosting the production of growth hormone and testosterone, which can be helpful in balancing hormones.
  • Pilates: Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that focuses on building core strength and improving flexibility. It can help in reducing stress levels and improving sleep, which can be beneficial in balancing hormones.

It’s important to remember that every person’s body is different, and what works for one person may not work for another. It’s always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise routine.

OVERALL FOR HORMONE BALANCING

Overall, incorporating a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise, a balanced diet, sufficient sleep, stress reduction, and avoidance of environmental toxins can be beneficial in achieving hormone balance. It’s important to note that hormone imbalances can have various underlying causes, and it’s always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the best course of action for your individual needs.

Some of my favorite haircare products.

It’s always good to have a good heat protectant, hair oil, and leave in conditioner.

Have you tried any of these products? If so which one is your favorite?
