What is Gisou hair oil? Well this is an oil that I have been seeing a lot all over the internet and I was really curious as to why people loved it so much?
As someone that really loves hair oils and the way that they make my hair feel I was very interested.
Finding a good hair oil for me is a bit difficult because very easily they can be too heavy for my hair. Or make my hair look greasy quickly and that’s the last thing I need.
So I wanted to see if this was one of those oils that I would love or hate.

WHAT IS GISOU HAIR OIL?
Gisou hair oil is a multipurpose, sustainable sourced honey infused hair oil. This alone peaked my interest.
It’s said to deeply nourish, moisturize, soften and smooth.
After seeing it all of the internet I was interested but after researching what it was and looking at the reviews and seeing how well everyone said it work I really wanted to try it.
But this is a pricy oil. There is a really small bottle that is 0.7 oz for $25.00 and the 1.7 oz bottle was $46.00.
And the really big bottle that is 3.4 oz is $87.00.
I was going to try out the smaller bottle since I didn’t want to waste too much money on something that I didn’t know how it worked.
I had earned some rewards from previous purchases and had $10 off so I decided to go for the 1.7 oz.
Why not when I had a discount?

HOW TO USE GISOU hair oil?
How can you use this oil for maximum results?
Well there are few different ways and they all work on moisturizing your hair but in different ways.
- This can be used a pre-wash mask. You can add this to your favorite deep conditioner and apply to your hair, then wash out as normal.
- Or it can be used the same way in an after shampoo deep conditioning mask. So add it to a deep conditioner and apply it to your hair after shampooing.
- You can use it after you wash and semi dry your hair. Apply a few drops to the mid-shaft to the ends of your hair and let dry or style as usual.
- Or apply a few drops of it to dry hair from mid-shaft to ends focusing on the ends and drier parts of your hair.
Any one of these ways can be beneficial with not only this oil but any oil of your choice if you already have a favorite one.

DOES IT WORK?
Now the biggest question did it actually work? Was it worth the money? Or just a gimmick like so many other products that we waste money on?
This product was worth every penny!! I can’t believe how well it worked and actually didn’t notice everything that it did for my hair right away.
It helped to smooth and moisturize my hair. From the moment I applied it and let seep into my hair, it looked less dry.
I applied it to damp hair so when my hair dried it look smooth instead of the dry nest it usually looks like.
It helped majorly with my frizz, and this I didn’t realize until a couple days later, I had my hair in a bun and usually my hair is super frizzy but it wasn’t after using this oil.
It’s so good that I want to save it an not use it lol which is pointless but its amazing.
It’s also super light weight so if you need a mid week hair pick up, applying a few drops of this can make a huge difference.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I can’t believe it took me so long to try this oil out but to be far I thought it was just one of those trends that everyone was doing but didn’t necessarily work.
But I am really happy that I tried it out and it worked so well for me. It’s worth the money.
Also a little goes a long way so even though it’s a little small it will last you for a long time.
