INCREASE YOUR SLEEP
This is the most important thing you can do for your whole body, not just your hair and skin.
Sleep is so beneficial to our body. So when you’re trying to get enough sleep see what works best for you.
Usually getting between 7-9 hours of sleep is recommended.
Testing it out to see exactly how much you need to help you feel well rested and ready to take on the day is the best approach.
QUALITY OF YOUR ROOM
One thing you want to make sure is that your room is set up for optimal sleep. So make sure that it can get completely dark.
And you want to make sure that it’s quiet as you don’t want anything disturbing your sleep.
Light can mess with your circadian rhythm which can mess with your sleep and leave you feeling tired and not well rested.
Also keep a glass of water by your bed, in case you do wake up and you’re thirsty. As sleep can do this to you.
NAPS
I love taking a nap when I can, the thing with napping is that you want to make sure you’re doing it the right way.
Shorter naps are better so that you end up feeling rested and rejuvenated. If you sleep too long on a nap you can put your body into a sleep cycle and end up feeling more tired than you started off feeling.
Also if your nap is too long you may have a hard time falling asleep at night.
ADJUST TEMPERATURE
Having just the right temperature in your room can really help you sleep better. Which will have many benefits of sleep for your hair and skin.
I’ve noticed that sleeping in a cooler room is always helpful for me. I get a better night’s rest and I feel so much more rested in the morning.
I didn’t realize how important this was until it was too hot and uncomfortable to sleep.

This can be really beneficial. Watching what you eat before bed can help you sleep better at night.
