So what is the Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge and who is Chloe Ting?
Chloe Ting is a YouTuber that became very popular in quarantine. She posts so many at home workouts that you can do with no equipment.
With so many at homes these at home workouts became so popular and everyone was trying her challenges and seeing amazing results.
Her 2 week shred challenge is 2 weeks of full body workouts that are suppose to help you shred, whether that be losing weight or toning up.
I’ve really wanted to try Chloe Ting workouts for a long time but I never had the strength to do it.
So I decided to start with the 7 day jump rope challenge, which you can read about here, and then move on.
I kept going back and forth because I was nervous that I wouldn’t be strong enough to even get through the first workout.
But I decided to just go for it and see where I was at and maybe I would get stronger as time went on.
This challenge can be found here.
So I tried it and here is my experience

Day One: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
So day one I was nervous but I got dressed in my workout gear and put my trusty knee brace on. Didn’t want to get anymore injuries that I didn’t need.
Started my fitness tracker and pressed play. And to my surprised I was able to get through the moves and the times. I took more breaks than I would like but I was able to finish the first video.
Then I moved on to the second video and it was a bit of a challenge as it was an abs video but I made completed it!
I was so proud of myself and I burned almost 200 calories with about 23 minutes of working out. Which was awesome!
After I finished the workouts I wasn’t too sore. I had heard so many people talk about being super sore, so I was wondering if I did the workouts correctly. But I moved on.
Day Two: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
Day two of the challenge I did wake up a bit sore in some areas that I was not use to, so that was a good thing. I was using muscles that I didn’t use before.
But it wasn’t too bad, it was manageable. I would be able to workout with not that many issues
So for the workout, I realized were the same two videos but there was an additional ab video that was optional, bringing the workout time to 33 minutes.
I got through the first two videos, taking breaks in there whenever I needed it. Which was still more that I would have liked but I needed it so I took it.
I started the optional video thinking I can do this its only an additional 10 or so minutes.
Boy was I wrong that workout was insane and I was only able to get through about 5 minutes before I had to call it quits.
After these workouts, my whole body was sore! I could barely lift my arms to tie my hair up. I was not expecting that at all.
Again I burned a little over 200 calories. I’m not sure of the exact number because I accidentally turned of my fitness tracker and had to start it again.
Day Three: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
Omg it was harder to do this days workouts because I knew there were four videos. And none of these videos were optional.
I was tired and being lazy so I didn’t start the workout until 4:30.
When I started I was already thinking like maybe I wont be able to do all of the videos.
This is such a bad mindset to have, because your already thinking you can’t do it before you even try.
So I started and thought to myself I have to at least try to complete them. And guess what I did all four and I am so proud of myself.
I did take breaks where I had to actually stop and catch my breathe but I realized that I was getting better at the workouts.
But I was completely drenched in sweat! These workouts are no joke. On this day it took me 54 minutes to complete all the videos and I burned 338 calories.
Day Four: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
Day four was a bit harder, I wasn’t able to complete all the workouts like I would have liked. I only had the energy to complete 2 out of the 3 videos.
Although I wasn’t happy that I couldn’t complete all of the videos, I listened to my body and I just couldn’t keep going.
I was still able to workout for 30 mins and burned 141 calories, which is a win for me.
I am happy that I was able to push through and complete as much of the workout as I could. This is a long way from me not working out at all.
Everyday I feel myself getting stronger and stronger, so this is an accomplishment itself.
Day Five: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
Well day five was one of my favorites lol it was an active rest day. Just kidding, but it did feel good to take a break.
Since my body isn’t use to working out so much, I just used the day to relax and not do much for working out.
Even though it was an “active” rest day I just used it as a rest day.
Day Six: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
Day six was a bit harder because I actually had to travel for work and do the workout after I got home.
So I was a bit tired but I had to push through and I was able to complete all 3 videos for this day.
I also realized on this day that I was so focused on doing the moves and completed them that I didn’t think about engaging my core enough.
I know, I know Chloe is telling us to engage our core the whole time but I didn’t realize I wasn’t doing it correctly.
So on day 6 I really started to engage my core, not as great as I probably should have but I was trying to do it.
On this day I worked out for 39 mins and burned 184 calories.
Day Seven: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
So unfortunately I had to take this day as a rest day too, because I was just too tired to complete 4 videos.
I had to travel to and from work and I just didn’t have it in me.
But I knew I would just pick up the next day.

Day Eight: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
Since I skipped day 7, I did the workouts from day 7 on day 8. For this day there were 4 videos to complete.
This was not easy at all but I pushed myself and was able to complete them all. I had to stop a few times but I finished.
Also some move were getting easier to do, but some were still very difficult. And Chloe really focused on abs this day!
So I had to also focus really hard on engaging my core while completing all these workouts.
This took me about 55 minutes to complete and I burned 258 calories.
So far I am really enjoying the challenge of working out consistently and the challenge of doing the moves that I thought I wouldn’t be able to do at all.
Day Nine: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
Day nine, is basically day 8 since I’m one day behind. This day I just couldn’t do it.
My knees were a bit sore from the day before and I didn’t want to irritate it more and not be able to continue with the program.
Listening to your body is essential. You don’t want to push yourself to the point of injury.
So I used it as a rest day and figured I would get back to it the next day.

Day Ten: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
So for day 10 I did day 8 exercises (still a bit behind, but still going). On day 8 I had to complete 4 videos.
I was happy I took a break because 4 videos were a lot to finish especially with my knee hurting.
So I completed the videos and it was still taking me a bit long to complete them because even though I have been doing them for some days now its still and intense workout.
I finished this days workouts in 55 minutes burning 258 calories.
Day Eleven: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
On day 11 I did the workouts for day 10. Day 9 was a rest day and since I didn’t feel like I needed it because I already had one I decided to workout.
There were 4 workout videos on this day and I was able to complete them all. And I was able to complete it a bit quicker this time.
Which was really good because I was taking less breaks. I was getting stronger. These workouts were no joke so this made me happy.
I completed this workout in 52 minutes and burned 247 calories.
Day Twelve: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
For day 12 I did day 11 workouts, which wasn’t too bad it was only 2 videos. But as all of Chloe Ting’s videos they were still difficult.
At this point I know a lot of people were complaining about the retentiveness of the workouts, and it was a bit but it was still difficult.
So it didn’t bother me as much, the only thing I didn’t care for was repeating the exercises, even though it wasn’t a lot when I was done with the move I wanted it to be over.
I completed this workout in 30 minutes and burned 138 calories.
Day Thirteen: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
Again I had to take a rest day and this was a bit frustrating to me but I had no choice.
My knee was really hurting and I couldn’t really put too much pressure on it. I had to rub it down with icy hot and let it rest.
At this point I was annoyed with the fact that I had to keep taking rest days, but then I had to be proud of myself that I had made it this far.
It’s been a long time since I stuck with a workout and I wasn’t ready to quit yet.
Day Fourteen: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
On day fourteen I did day 12 workouts. I know I was a bit annoyed that I had to keep taking breaks but I was only two days behind.
So that was definitely a plus. Day 12 consisted of 4 videos. Since I took the day before off to rest my knee, I felt good.
I was able to get through these 4 videos faster than usual and took less breaks.
I finished these 4 videos in 49 minutes and burned 229 calories.
Day Fifteen: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
This day I did day 13 videos and I was starting to get excited that I was so close to finishing the program.
I hadn’t finished any program in a long time so this was an accomplishment.
So for day 13 there were 3 videos that I had to complete.
These videos were finished in 36 minutes which was quicker than I finished these videos before. I was getting faster and not taking long breaks in between.
I burned 162 calories with these videos.
Day Sixteen: Chloe Ting 2 Week Shred Challenge
This was it the final day, day 14!! But it wasn’t an easy one I had 4 videos to complete.
I knew I was so close to being done I had to get through the workouts. So I decided to just get it done.
Even though it was the last day these workouts were not any easier.
I completed the 4 videos in 51 minutes and burned 243 calories.
But the major thing I completed the challenge!
Results
So one of the biggest results for me was that I got stronger and was able to get through more of the workouts.
And I was so happy that I completed the challenge.
This challenge was completely worth it. But lets get into the numbers….
After this 14 day challenge and not changing my eating habits:
Weight: -1.4 lbs
Chest: -1.5 inches
Waist: same
Hips : -0.5 inches
R Thigh: -0.5 inches
L Thigh: -0.5 inches
R Arm: -0.5 inches
L Arm: -0.5 inches
R Calf: -0.5 inches
L Calf: -0.5 inches
Total inches lost: 5 inches.
I am super happy with these results considering that I haven’t changed my eating habits just added working out.
Final Thoughts
So the big question is was this challenge worth it? What was the good the bad and the ugly?
This is an amazing challenge and should definitely be done. Its so worth it! Especially if your trying to get back into the workout scene.
Chloe’s workouts are challenging but can be done. This challenge is perfect because its only two weeks its not a huge commitment to make. This makes it more doable.
Also the great thing about Chloe is that she has many different challenges, so if you decide to you can just move into another challenge.
The only thing that I didn’t love was the repetitive videos, but I tried to think of it as a way for me to get stronger with these specific workouts.
Bottom line I would absolutely recommend this challenge to anyone and I will definitely be doing more of her challenges in the future.
